HE was once the toast of Hollywood, adored by a legion of fans and raking in £7.5million as the King of Porn.
But behind Ron Jeremy’s onscreen antics lurked a “monster” - who is now in jail awaiting trial on and serious sexual assault.
Ahead of a new Channel 4 documentary, which airs tonight, Brit Lianne Young - who has testified against the 69-year-old star - reveals she was raped by Jeremy in a crowded nightclub as she partied with friends in 2000.
Despite the attack being witnessed by friends, she was persuaded not to report Jeremy, told “that’s just what Ron does”.
“Ron was very protected by the industry and I was told the police were in his pockets, so there was no point in reporting it,” she tells The Sun.
“Back then people worshipped Ron, men treated him like a God. He was considered to be untouchable. But he was a monster.”

The 47-year-old from Bristol is one of several victims who tell their horrific stories in Porn King: The Rise and Fall of Ron Jeremy.
Another is a former porn star raped on her 21st birthday, and a devout Christian attacked in a bathroom after 26 years of friendship.
Single mum Lianne - who believes there are “thousands” more yet to come forward - was 23 and working in the adult industry when she went on a girl’s night out to the House of Blues club in LA.
She recalls: “I was drinking a bottle of beer, watching a band, the girls were talking amongst themselves and I remember being pushed over the table, dropping my drink and suddenly I was being raped.

“I managed to get my arm around me and smack him in the face and then I screamed, ‘What the f*** are you doing?’
“His face was completely expressionless. He just zipped up his trousers and melted into the crowd.
“I was in such a state, crying and crying. I felt completely traumatised.”
Lianne has waited over two decades to see justice done and says it was a “joyful moment” when Jeremy was finally arrested in June 2020
But the sicko is still putting her through a “living hell” after demanding different juries for each of the 21 victims and having the trial postponed amid claims he is too ill to attend.
“Ron has carried on abusing us for the last two years by delay after delay,” she says. “I’ve been a prisoner of his actions for 20 years and he is still controlling us. It's been horrendous.”
'He was grotesque'
Jeremy - real name Ron Hyatt - launched his adult career in 1979 and was famed for his overlong manhood and being constantly “up for anything.”
He holds the record for the most appearances in adult movies with over 2,000 starring roles, and in 2007 was paid a reported £150,000 to take part in a world record ‘gang bang’ with another 550 men and one woman.
He had a reputation for poor personal hygiene, with co-stars complaining he smelt and insisting he showered before scenes.
Lianne says: “There was a joke in porn, there are three things you shouldn’t do - animals, underage, and Ron Jeremy.
“There was no way I’d ever do a scene with Ron Jeremy. He was grotesque.”
Former porn actress Ginger Lynn, who believes she is the first person to be raped by Jeremy, tells the documentary he attacked her in a Hawaiian hotel in 1983 while they were filming a movie.

Lynn was engaged to another male co-star and had been celebrating her 21st birthday with her fiance on the beach but was attacked in the bathroom when she returned to change.
“He came up from behind, held my hands down on the side of the sink, pulled down my bathing suit, and began f*****g me,” she says. “The more I said no, the harder he effs me and the more he’s into it.
“He covered my mouth. In the end you resign yourself to the fact you’re being raped. I wish I’d screamed and bit and punched harder but I was scared and I didn’t know any better.”
The day after the attack, to add to her horror, Ginger had to film sex scenes with Jeremy.
She kept the attack to herself, believing as a sex worker, she wouldn’t be believed. When she did accuse him in 2004, he replied: “I thought you wanted it.”
Backlash
The allegations caused a massive backlash from fans who accused the actress of lying. There was even an online poll asking whether fans believed Ginger or Jeremy.
After her own assault, in 2000, Lianne quit the adult movie industry.
“I was British and I was in America so I was scared and I was told not to go to the police so there was nothing I could do,” she says.
“Nobody was helping me. I was committed to two other contracts which I really struggled to finish and then I had to go to Vegas and sign my autograph.
“That last day, surrounded by fans thinking they could touch you because you're a famous sex symbol, made me feel sick so I came home. It destroyed me.”
Red carpet assault
As Jeremy’s fame grew he cultivated a comic, goofy persona and was swamped by fans wherever he went, with women asking him to sign their bare boobs and men asking him to grope their girlfriends.
His notoriety opened the door to the mainstream, seeing him appear on his own reality show and even launch a range of merchandise, including rum, T-shirts and a sex toy.
His status meant the growing number of accusations of assault against him were swept under the carpet.
“He was an icon to millions,” says Lianne. “Every man in the world who ever watched porn admired Ron Jeremy.
“Everyone knew what he was up to and that was ignored. It seems to be that in the sex industry, you're allowed to be raped. And it's not right.”
Alana Evans, now president of the Performer Union, says she has a dossier of testimonies against Jeremy and was also assaulted by him at a red carpet, when he penetrated her with his fingers.
“We were conditioned to think this was normal. When he assaulted me I didn’t even see it as a crime,” she says.
“He was comfortable with his behaviour because no one stopped him. With Ron it was going to get worse because he felt entitled.”
Bathroom terror of close pal
As time went on, the alleged attacks moved from opportunistic to increasingly violent, with women being attacked in car parks or while inebriated.
One woman claims she was given a drink that made her violently sick and unable to stand before being assaulted as she vomited.
Charity Carson, a Christian who had a platonic relationship with the porn star for 26 years, claims he locked her in his hotel bathroom before attacking her.
“I fought him and he’s trying to unravel my clothes, put my hand on his penis and he’s trying with all his might to rape me," she says.
“I was screaming and his mind was to rape me.”
She escaped but says she was left shocked and her "world fell apart". She adds: “It was betrayal because I was such good friends with him for so many years.”
Arrest for 34 attacks
Jeremy’s world finally came crashing down in 2017, when YouTuber Ginger Banks posted a 10 minute clip detailing the many accusations of rape and sexual assault against him.
The LA Times investigated the allegations and US prosecutors followed suit.
Jeremy was arrested and in August 2021, charged with a total of 34 counts of rape and sexual assault against 21 women.
He denies all charges and in March, the trial was postponed pending a mental health examination, as Jeremy was apparently incoherent and unable to recognise his lawyer.
As well as 20 years of trauma caused by the attack, Lianne has battled near-fatal sepsis four years ago which left her temporarily paralysed. She now has a neurological condition which can be triggered by stress.
Reliving the attack has made the last two years of her life a “living hell”.
She says: “It's been such a traumatic experience. I want to move on and live my life, but I've been unable to have any life for two years.
“My [28-year-old] son has been the most phenomenal support and an absolute rock. I couldn’t have got through it without him.”
Lianne, a trained counsellor, is now using her platform to call for education for young girls who want to go into the sex industry. She also works with police to help sex workers who become victims of abuse.
“You've now got 15-year-old girls aspiring to a career on OnlyFans,” she says.
“To me, OnlyFans is an online pimp, taking a percentage of takings from exploited girls.
“There are still serious problems in the sex industry. There’s still a casting couch, rapes, stalking and girls on sites like OnlyFans are also putting themselves up for abuse online, which can be so damaging to your mental health.
