THIS is the dramatic moment police arrested an intruder who scaled a wall at Buckingham Palace — before allegedly telling police “I will get a gun”.
Daniel Sheehan, 22, leapt into the grounds after an “interaction” with security last Friday.
As this exclusive Sun Online video shows armed cops quickly arrested him for trespassing on a protected site.
Sheehan, of no fixed abode, was not carrying a weapon, Westminster JPs heard yesterday.
But when quizzed later, he was said to have told officers: “I will get a gun and use it at the palace to defend myself.”
The court heard Sheehan had been admitted to Langley Green hospital, West Sussex, in September and released after assessment on October 6.
He entered the palace the next day. No royals were there, it is thought.
He remains in custody on trespass charges and is next due in court on Thursday, pending mental health assessments.
