AN adventurous lover has been rushed to hospital after ‘breaking’ his PENIS while attempting a daring new sex position.
The once-virile Vietnamese gentleman had his throbbing member ‘broken at the joint’ in an incredibly rare case which shocked medics at the hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
While enjoying an energetic romping session with his girlfriend, the 59-year-old reportedly heard a deafening ‘crack’ before unimaginable pain coursed through his still-naked body.
Speaking with newspaper , Dr Mai Ba Tien Dung from Binh Dan Hospital, revealed the unnamed man’s penis turned bright purple.
He said: “The organ was swollen and bruised, but also certainly broken at the joint.”

The poor man was rushed into surgery where a crack team of doctors worked tirelessly to stitch his member back together.
There is still no confirmation as to what exotic sexual position caused the horrific injury.
Dr Dung insisted breaking the penis at the point where it is attached to the body is extremely rare and occurs at full erection.
He said: “Symptoms include a clear ‘crack’ that is accompanied by a sharp pain.
“Without timely surgery, the patient can suffer from a deformed and curved penis and erectile dysfunction.
“The case of this 59-year-old patient is rare, occurring only once out of a thousand cases of broken penises recorded in medical literature.”
‘Penis contrusion’ occurs when the member is stuck with blunt force.

While the penis does not have any bones to break, a penis trauma or contrusion occurs when an erect penis is hit by a direct force.
What happens exactly?
An erection happens when blood rushes through the two big tubes in a penis causing pressure to grow, while making it hard and difficult to bend at the same time. If it experiences some kind of force, it can lead to a pressure overload and eventually, a rupture.
How do you know if it’s happened to you?
You will know almost immediately if you’ve broke your penis as you’ll hear a cracking or a popping sound, which is the tissue tearing. You will lose your erection and then swelling of a different kind will occur alongside bruising and lots of pain.
What should you do if it happens?
While embarrassing, you should probably head to your nearest A&E so doctors can confirm the fracture through a clinical exam. Men usually need to undergo surgery to repair the penile tissue and it’s important to go under the knife within three days of the injury to avoid further complications down the line.
How to avoid breaking your penis
Don’t worry too much as penile fractures are relatively rare, but it pays to be aware of the sex positions which put you more at risk, including when the woman is on top.
Earlier this year, former NBA star Dennis Rodman revealed he has broken his penis three times during sex.
