Tot aged FIVE left ‘screaming in terror’ when ‘killer clown’ leapt out on him after dark
THE youngest victim of a clown attack is a five-year-old boy from the Midlands, who was walking with his dad when a person jumped out at them.
His father Darren Hattersley said his son was "petrified" when speaking about the ordeal on BBC WM today.
He said: "I was walking down the street with my lad about 7pm.
"I was on a main road and I came to a cross junction and I gone round the corner and a clown’s jumped out.
"It wasn’t violent, it wasn’t holding a weapon or anything and he screamed.
"I was alright but the lad was petrified.
"It’s someone who is tagging along but terrorising people.
"The clown’s just ran off and I was left with a screaming lad."
The poor youngster fell foul of the craze which is sweeping the country, as adults and children alike are targeted by people wearing clown costumes with the intention of causing shock and fear.
A 10-year-old boy was chased by a clown in a park with his friends, and was left with a nasty bruise after the clown threw a rock at him.
A criminologist has revealed why people act differently when they put on costumes such as a clown mask, as the 'killer clown' craze spreads.
The craze has got so out of control that popular circus, Zippos, has announced its shows will no longer feature clowns.

In Wales, the first person to be charged over the craze is Connor Jones.
