Three teenagers arrested after boy, 15, run over by moped and stabbed in the arm

Passer-by rushed the victim to hospital following Friday's attack

THREE teenagers were held by cops after a 15-year-old boy suffered serious knife wounds and nerve damage when he was run down by a moped and stabbed in the street.

Police said the victim was walking in Almond Road, Epsom, Surrey, when a moped driver ran him down before jumping off and stabbing him in the arm.

A passer-by rushed the victim to hospital following Friday's attack.

He was treated for his injuries and has since been discharged.

Police arrested two girls, aged 14 and 15, on suspicion of conspiracy to commit GBH, a 15-year-old boy was also held on suspicion of causing GBH.

All three have been bailed until January.

Detective Sergeant Glenn Parker, who is leading the investigation, said: "This was a nasty assault involving a group of teenagers which has left the victim with serious stab wounds and possible nerve damage to his arm.

"We would like to reassure the local community that incidents of this nature are extremely rare and that we are carrying out a full and thorough investigation in order to bring the offenders to justice."
