Cops arrest motorist seen driving on busy road wearing a ‘killer clown’ mask
A MAN driving a car while wearing a clown mask was issued a warning by police after he was pulled over.
Cops were staggered to see the costumed driver, and could not see his face thanks to the red and white clown mask.
He was ordered to take off the mask, which was then confiscated by police.
The unnamed driver was issued a section 59 after he was seen driving "inconsiderately" while wearing a clown mask.
Following this order, his car could be seized if he is seen wearing a mask again.
Port Talbot Police, south Wales, posted a picture of the mask on their patrol car bonnet.
This photo was accompanied with the words "the mask has been surrendered - don't be a clown".
Today it emerged a victim of a clown attack had fought back and punched the clown in the face.
Over the past weekend Thames Valley Police were called to 14 reports of people being intimidated or frightened by others dressed as clowns and Gloucestershire Police had six reports.
In South Wales Police attended numerous reports as police are reporting more and more sightings and in Leicestershire, one woman was scared so badly she went into early labour as the craze continues to baffle much of the UK.
