Cops probe attempted abduction of 11-year-old boy outside school by van driver with rotten teeth
Suspect ordered lad to "get in van" during ordeal at Manchester college on Wednesday afternoon
COPS have warned parents to be vigilant after after a man in a van attempted to abduct a young boy outside a school.
The 11-year-old was targeted at 3.25pm on Wednesday by the motorist who had rotten and missing teeth.
The man spoke to the boy through the driver’s window and ordered him to “get in the van” outside St Ambrose College in Altrincham, Manchester.
The suspect is described as black, aged in his 30s and with dark hair in a quiff style.
The man was driving a Flatbed type van.
Police have launched an investigation and enquiries are ongoing.
A statement said: “High Visibility patrols have been put in place around the local area and passing attention will be given around the School.
“Parents, please be mindful when dropping your children off at school and warn your children to be precautious if walking home alone.”
