Man, 31, charged with murder after pedestrian hit & killed by car
A MAN has been charged with murder after a pedestrian was killed in a collision with a car.
Jermaine Richards was charged with murder, attempted murder and criminal damage after the horror smash in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
A car hit a pedestrian at about 5.50am on Saturday, South Yorkshire Police said.
David Ford died as a result of his injuries - and a second man was left seriously injured after being assaulted.
Richards, 31, has been remanded in custody to appear before Sheffield Magistrates' Court on Monday.

South Yorkshire Police said it has made a mandatory self-referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) relating to the investigation.
The referral to the IOPC is due to police interactions with Richards in the lead up to the incident.
