Russian manufacturers claim to have created a terrifying new futuristic weapon capable of disabling its enemies in an instant
VLADIMIR Putin's defence cronies have successfully tested a new 'death ray' vastly superior to anything developed by the West, it is claimed.
The terrifying weapon uses "directed energy" to disable enemy radio and magnetic equipment on board enemy jets, drones and other aircraft.
"This is a completely new type of weapon, which has no analogues in our country, and I daresay, in the world," a company spokesperson said.
"It conducts indirect physical impact on the on-board equipment of aircraft or drones and neutralises precision-guided weapons."
The company is said to operate at the crest of technological advances and is also working on laser and sonic technology-based weapons.
Recent reports suggest Putin is preparing for further conflict, following his devastating blitz on Syria in recent months.
It comes as new photographs have emerged showing inflatable aircraft have been erected across Russia in a bid to trick Western satellites.
The life-size jets are similar to the tanks Putin has used in the past - and the Allies famously used when they liberated France during the Normandy landings.
She refused to reveal how many planes and tanks they had created but said demand and skyrocketed in the past year.
"There are no gentlemen’s agreements in war. There’s no chivalry anymore. Nobody wears a red uniform. Nobody stands up to get shot at. It’s either you or me, and whoever has the best trick wins."
