A MAN and a woman have been charged over a hit-and-run attack in which a man was driven at and thrown 15 feet up into the air.

Shocking footage shows the moment the 30-year-old victim was walking through a car park in North Walham, Norfolk, with two friends when he was deliberately run over.

Norfolk Police released the clear footage of the incident which happened in the Vicarage Car Park in North Walham in Norfolk at 12.55am Saturday, July 23.

The victim was walking through the car park with two friends when a small, dark coloured car, believed to be a blue Peugeot 307, was driven at him intentionally.

One of the friends managed to run out of the way and another threw an object at the car after the victim had been knocked to the ground.

Following the hit and run the car, which is believed to have had three occupants, sped off.

Today, Darren Blackmore, 43, of Wymondham, Norfolk, was charged with one count of Grievous Bodily Harm with intent, two counts of attempted Grievous Bodily Harm and one count of dangerous driving.

Sammi Horner, 35, of North Walsham, Norfolk, was charged with encouraging an offender under Section 45 of the Serious Crime Act.

Both Blackmore and Horner have been remanded into custody and will appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on November 24.
