Stunning 50ft cruising yacht found washed up on Cornwall beach after breaking free from its moorings
Local walker found the luxury boat lying on its side and it has remained there for more than a week
A STAR-crossed sailor faces a hefty bill after their luxury yacht broke free from its moorings and washed up on a Cornish beach.
The 50-foot-long, two-masted ketch called Christiana was found by walker Roy McBride in the picturesque Trebah Bay on Thursday.
He took pictures of the stricken vessel lying on its keel next to a slipway as it was being struck by waves.
The vessel is thought to have broken its moorings during recent high winds.
McBryde said: “I believe it was a visitor.
