Cops hold 19-year-old after boy, 18, is found stabbed to death in London home

The 18-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene suffering from knife wounds

A MURDER investigation has been launched after a teenager was stabbed to death.

Cops were called to Wembley, north west London, at 1.35pm on Saturday following reports of a stabbing at an address.

An 18-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene after being knifed.

The victim's family have been informed and a post mortem carried out yesterday showed the boy died from knife wounds.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating, led by Detective Chief Inspector Andy Chalmers.

Police know the identity of the victim but formal identification awaits.

The killing is the latest in a string of murders to hit London in just three weeks after a 22-year-old was shot dead in Croydon on October 8.

The victim - named as Akeem - was pronounced dead at the scene in Eastney Road just after 11.30pm.

On October 4, a man in his 20s was shot dead in Bethnal Green, east London, as he answered the door.

And a man was stabbed to death by a gang armed with knives and baseball bats in Dagenham, east London on September 26.

Raja Rashid Ali, 33, was killed after a group of up to a dozen men attacked the driver and passengers of a parked car.

Shocking video footage showed a 4x4 slamming into a parked Renault Megane.

Seconds later a second car arrived at the scene penning the Megane in – before men leap out and begin attacking each other with bats, knives and chains.

One of the three men sat inside the vehicle escapes through the roof – and a second can be seen throwing himself through the window.
