PRIMARK shoppers have been warned to stay safe when using the store's unisex changing rooms after a woman shared her uncomfortable experience.
TikToker Charlotte Kirby explained how she was left feeling "shaken up" after trying the new unisex changing rooms at the Primark store in Cambridge.
In a clip, she shared on TikTok while in her car after the incident, Charlotte warned others "to not go in changing rooms alone".
She wrote: "Please be aware/spread the word and stay safe girls. Don’t go in changing rooms alone.
"This never even crossed my mind when I went into a unisex changing room.
"Thank you @primark for dealing with this so well. I know worst things could have happened but I still feel very shaken up."

Teary-eyed Charlotte explained how she was put in an uncomfortable situation twice.
She said: "I feel really stupid being emotional about this, but I was trying on some clothes, and it was a unisex changing room which I'm really for and I love that because it makes everyone feel included.
"But twice, two men opened the curtain and walked in on me. Luckily both times I was fully clothed, but I could easily not have been.
"It was two different people clearly from the same group.

"There was probably 100 changing rooms available. So it wasn't like, 'Oo is someone in here or not?'
"The first time was as they walked in they did it and the second time, was like one of them said to the other, 'Have you tried it on, can I see?' and he opened it."
The TikToker said she was in such a state of shock, she even apologised "as if it was her fault".
She continued: "I have to say though, Primark have been amazing. They were really really good about it.
"They have walked me back to my car because I was scared.
"Apparently it's not the first time it's happened. Security are watching back the tapes and trying to find who it is.
"I just want to say to people please be careful and if you go in the changing room try not to go on your own.
"I would never do that again, I would rather take it home, try it on and get it back and get it refunded. Stay safe."
Tiktokers were quick to voice their concerns over the unisex changing rooms
One said: "This is why we should have separate changing rooms.
Someone commented: "Unisex training rooms should have propa doors with a lock.
"I understand why places have unisex but not everyone is innocent unfortunately".
Another one added: "if you’re going to have unisex changing rooms you MUST have proper lockable doors NOT CURTAINS."
A Primark spokesperson said: “We are really sorry to hear of this customer’s experience.
"It shouldn’t have happened and we’re urgently investigating. We are currently reviewing our approach to fitting rooms in our stores to ensure these are always safe and inclusive spaces for everyone.”
The warning comes after a Met Police cop was caught spying on a woman in a Primark in the unisex changing room in July.
Primark caused backlash from shoppers when it launched its first gender-neutral changing rooms in 2019.
