Inside the former bungalow mum transformed into £2.5m mansion used in Little Mix video

A HOUSE-PROUD mum transformed an ordinary bungalow into an incredible £2.5m mansion which was used by Little Mix to film the video for their single Hair.

The swanky home in Saddleworth, Greater Manchester, has also hosted Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington and Emmerdale stars Kevin Feltcher and Chris Bisson.

Mum-of-two Deborah Hill has opened her home to film crews after designing the property's face-lift herself.

The bungalow-transformer started renovating the home after buying it for £650,000 a decade ago,

She has now put the house on the market for a staggering £2.5m.

The interior designer was battling bowel cancer during the renovation but completed the project within 30 months.

The six-bedroom house has a sun terrace, koi carp pond, a snooker room, and panoramic views of Saddleworth.

She took inspiration from Oldham's industrial history as well as French and Italian villas.

Ms Hill said: “I’ve never done anything on this scale before so I am really proud of it. It’s a very beautiful house but also very practical.”

She added: "It's a family home for someone who will enjoy throwing parties and entertaining."

Ms Hill, a former art student, had no idea she would one day be welcoming her 12-year-old daughter's favourite band Little Mix to the home.

She said the pop band spent 21 hours shooting the video at her home and the girls were "patient and professional" throughout.

Rapper and singer Sean Paul also features in the video but did not film in Ms Hill's bungalow.

Ms Hill said: "(Little Mix) were really nice.

"The director was a guy called Director X who came over from LA and was just really cool.

"He let Grace in the director's chair.

“Little Mix were very friendly. The singer Perrie said they had been trying to work out it was a footballer’s house. She was really interested in the house.

“Grace was just in awe. It was just surreal really.

"They were chilling out in our snooker room and came and ate some pizza in the kitchen.

“I can’t believe the video has been viewed 133 million times and it’s my house in the background. I feel really proud. I built the whole thing from scratch so it’s so strange to see it on screen.”
