BOARD TO TEARS

I’m Britain’s ‘dullest man’ and my latest calendar is my most boring so far – but I don’t care

BRITAIN’S dullest man has hit a new low — with his latest calendar featuring village noticeboards.

Kevin Beresford’s past creations have focused on benches, roundabouts, rubbish tips and even Manchester City player Jack Grealish’s calves.

But for his latest effort, the 70-year-old spent weeks taking pictures of village noticeboards in his area.

Kevin said: “I’d say this is my most boring calendar so far.

"You can really learn a lot about a village notice board, from the number of pieces of paper on it, to what’s actually going on in the area.

“My favourite board by far was Moseley village.

"That was a very jam-packed board with a funny notice about an over-70s nudist leapfrog club.

“I wasn’t sure if it was a real advert or not.”

Single Kevin, of Redditch, Worcs, hopes his new calendar will make a great gift for friends and family this Christmas.

He said: “It’s just a bit of fun really. Village noticeboards are kind of a dying breed with the rise of social media and groups for residents living in certain places.

“I wanted to rejuvenate them a little bit within the calendar so people can enjoy them as much as I did.

“But Redditch’s own board was just garbage and is the only completely empty board on the calendar.”
