Who was Jeffrey Dahmer victim Raymond Smith?

JEFFREY Dahmer took the lives of 17 victims, and his sixth murder was that of Raymond Smith.

Who was Raymond Smith?

Raymond Lamont Smith, was born in 1957 and was just 33 at the time of his death.

Also known as "Ricky Beeks," Raymond was a sex-worker and little is known about him.

He left behind a 10-year-old daughter after he was brutally murdered.

What happened to Raymond Smith?

Milwaukee Monster Jeffrey Dahmer had been released from prison for second-degree sexual assault and with his new found freedom, moved out of his grandmother's house into a new apartment.

Within one week, on May 20 1990, Dahmer met Mr Smith, and lured him to his apartment at 213 Oxford Apartments, North 25th Street.

He offered him $50 in exchange for sex and once inside the property he spiked the sex-worker's drink with sleeping tablets.

It is reported Mr Smith's cause of death was strangulation and Dahmer then performed sex acts with the cadaver.

According to police reports the victim's corpse was also dismembered and decapitated as Dahmer wanted to paint the skull grey.

This was later found in his fridge.

Dahmer wished to display the rest of the bones around his apartment as ornaments and cleaned them using an acid tank.

Polaroids were also taken by the serial killer which show the victim's dead body in disturbing and suggestive positions.

Dahmer was sentenced for the murder of 17 men and young boys in a killing spree that lasted 13 years.

His first victim was 18-year-old Steven Hicks, who was lured into Dahmer's car and back to his house with the promise of alcohol.

When Hicks wanted to leave, Dahmer bludgeoned him with a 4.5 kg dumbell and later confessed to hitting him twice from behind as he sat on a chair.

This knocked Hicks unconscious and Dahmer used the bar of the dumbell to strangle him to death.

Dahmer used the body to perform a sex act and the corpse was dissected in the basement to be buried in the back garden.

However, later it was dug up and dissolved in acid and the killer crushed the bones with a sledgehammer to dispose them in woodland behind the family home.

His final victim was 25-year-old Joseph Bradehoft, before he was finally caught and arrested in 1991.
