Man and woman charged by cops following the death of four-month-old boy
The pair have been charged with causing the serious injury or death of a child as a result of an unlawful act
A MAN and woman have been charged by cops investigating the death of a baby in Kent.
On April 13 police were alerted to a medical emergency involving a four-month-old boy in Lapwing Close, Sheerness.
The youngster died in hospital on April 27.
Officers have been investigating the circumstances behind the child's death.
A 32-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man have now been charged with causing serious injury or death to a child as a result of an unlawful act.
Both will appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on November 15.
