Sex drugs and baby oil inside home where ‘gay serial killer Stephen Port murdered four men’
Defendant's flat was searched following the death of his first alleged murder victim
SEX drugs and baby oil were among the items photographed in the flat of alleged gay serial killer Stephen Port, a jury at the Old Bailey saw today.
The 41-year-old's one-bedroom flat in Barking, east London, was searched following the death of his first alleged murder victim, Anthony Walgate, 23.
Among the items photographed on June 27 2014 were a pair of underpants emblazoned with the words "Born 4 Porn".
Police also photographed a bottle of Amsterdam Gold poppers on the bedside table and another inside the fridge, as well as an empty bottle of baby oil.
Inside a bedroom drawer was a dildo, condoms and lubricating gel, while a living room cabinet contained a large number of DVDs, including pornography, the court heard.

Port pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice in relation Mr Walgate's death and was sentenced to eight months imprisonment on 23 March 2016.
But by the time he was jailed Port had allegedly gone on to claim the lives of two more young men.
Slovakian Gabriel Kovari, 22, and 21-year-old chef Daniel Whitworth, from Gravesend, in Kent, were allegedly murdered within weeks of each other in August and September 2014.
Both, like Mr Walgate, had died of GHB poisoning and were found in an almost identical position in St Margaret's churchyard, in Abbey Green.
Port is said to have killed again just three months after being released from prison, in September 2015, when forklift truck driver Jack Taylor, 25, was found near the same churchyard.
He was arrested on 15 October last year when police again photographed his home.
Today a 35-year-old man, who can not be named for legal reasons, told the court he had met Port for sex after meeting on on gay hook-up app Grindr.
The alleged victim said Port had sent him a picture of another man's face before he agreed to go.
"It was dark. All I could see was a silhouette," the complainant said.
"Then someone else emerged from another room."
The man, described as "quite large" told the alleged victim "have fun", the court heard.
The jury then heard that the alleged victim went into Port's bedroom where they both stripped before the alleged killer inserted something into his backside.
"I heard a click," the complainant said before telling jurors he felt a burning sensation.
"I didn't know what was going through my head. As I heard the click, I started to panic.
"I quickly ran to the front door in case he tried to stop me. I was panicking."
Prosecutors have alleged that Port was trying to administer drugs in order to have sex with the man while he was unconscious.
After Port's arrest in October last year, the alleged victim told police: "The whole episode was very bizarre. In fact it was the most bizarre and strangest meeting I had ever experienced."
David Etherington QC, defending, suggested the complainant may have only formed this view after Port's arrest for murder.
He said: "Is it what happened afterwards that put ideas into your head? Do you think that might have influenced the way you think back on it?"
The alleged victim is one of 12 men said to have been attacked by Port over three-and-a-half years, between 2012 and 2015, four of which died of an overdose of the party drug GHB.
Port, denies four counts of murder, four counts of manslaughter, four counts of administering a poison with intent to endanger life or inflict grievous bodily harm, seven counts of rape, six counts of administering a substance with intent to overpower to allow sexual activity, and four counts of sexual assault by penetration.
Last week the jury were shown footage of Port having sex with one of his alleged victims.
The trial continues.
