Jeremy Corbyn gets down on bended knee to sign on for new Ken Loach benefits film I, Daniel Blake
Newly re-elected Labour leader also juggled oranges in his Islington constituency for an anti food waste campaign
JEREMY Corbyn was snapped on his knees at the I, Daniel Blake premiere yesterday, signing his name on a poster in the West End.
The Labour leader reportedly objected to kneeling in front of the Queen but he seemed happy to drop to bended knee at the screening of Ken Loach’s film about benefits.
The film, which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes festival, follows a working man's struggles when he is forced to claim benefits.
Earlier in the day the Labour leader was seen juggling oranges in the capital as he gave his support to a food waste campaign.
He was pictured with the fruit for the Food For London campaign, which highlights the amount of food thrown away by supermarkets.
Smile for the Cameron
MEANWHILE, Theresa May and David Cameron were pulled into a selfie while campaigning in Oxfordshire.
The pair were with local Tory candidate Robert Courts when they were approached for the picture by local woman Lindsey Auton and friend Rebecca Sherwood.

“It was really bizarre and totally unexpected.”
