Benefits scrounger mum-of-12 who raked in £40k in handouts is to go on trial for handling £10k ‘stolen from parking meters’

Cheryl Prudham's estranged husband and a third man are also facing charges

THE QUEEN of benefits will join her ex in the dock after the pair denied charges related to the theft of £10,000 in change from parking meters.

Mum-of-12 Cheryl Prudham, who has previously made national headlines after raking in £40,000 a year in benefits, is accused of handling the stolen cash.

Estranged husband Robert Prudham, 31, is charged with stealing £10,500 from parking machines as well as failing to disclose previous convictions to a recruitment firm.

Jacob Underdown, 27, is charged with the same offences as Prudham.

All three deny all the charges.

Last month Medway Magistrates' Court heard how Underdown and Robert Prudham allegedly took the notes and coins from several car parks in Maidstone, Kent.

The trio will stand trial next month.

Earlier this year Cheryl, 34, was pictured browsing Mercedes cars at a dealership near her new home in Wigan, Lancashire.

The part-time cleaner had six children by two different men and six more with now-ex husband Rob.

In July, a petition demanding a cut in Cheryl’s reported £40,800 benefits hit 15,000 signatures.

It came after she said she was saving for a boob job and wants baby 13 with a sperm donor.
