Many tourists dismiss the threat of getting poisoned on a bus as an urban myth - but locals in Thailand consider it to be a real possibility, as shocking video of police questioning a suspect proves.

Footage appears to show police officers interrogating the man - wearing a blue shirt - after he was thrown off bus, travelling from the Thai capital Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani, 380 miles away.

Reportedly, he was arrested after the driver received a complaint that he allegedly sold the man in the black shirt noodles laced with a strong muscle relaxant drug.

He was accused of swiping 20,000 Thai baht - almost £500 - and the victim's mobile phone.

The victim is thought to have made a full recovery

It is thought the victim - who can be seen being taken to a waiting ambulance - made a full recovery following the order.
