Pervert bouncer snared by paedophile vigilantes after sending string of dirty messages to ’14-year-old girl’ he then tried to meet for sex
He was caught out by a member of Chris Fear - Paedophile Hunter, which stands for Children Have Rights in Society
A BOUNCER who sent a "14-year-old girl" messages about soaping her in the shower and pictures of his penis was caught out by vigilante paedophile hunters.
Shaun Torevell travelled from Manchester to Luton to meet the girl for sex, but was instead greeted by a member of a group called Chris Fear - Paedophile Hunter.
Heavily built Torevell, 48, thought he was chatting with a young teenager called Jenni Johnston, but had been speaking to Neil Ivall, founder of the group, all along.
When Torevell arrived at Luton railway station on his Harley Davidson motorbike, he was handed over to the police.
Sentencing him at Luton Crown Court today, Judge Philip Bartle QC said: "You sent messages to 'Jenni' of a highly explicit nature and came to Luton fully intending to carry out one or more of the sexual acts you had described in your conversations.
"You were prepared to travel a long way which shows your desperate desire to meet with her."
Mr Ivall, who set up the group after a member of his family was groomed, had created a fake Facebook account in the name of Jenni Johnston, using a picture of a friend when she was 14.
The public profile gave her date of birth as 2002 as "we make the girl's age clear, straight away," Mr Ivall says.
On May 3 Torevell sent a friend request to "Jenni" and two days later told her she was "bang tiday".
He said in a conversation: "I hope you don't mind chatting to an older guy."
He also told her he wished he was a fly on the wall when she was showering and said: "I am a grown man who likes sexy little girls like yourself."
Torevell told her: "I work in a few clubs in Manchester. I am a bouncer. When I am bored I take my black Harley Davidson for a blast."
The jury heard he asked the teen if she had a naughty side, adding: "I would love to be soaping your sexy little t*ts up."

Prosecutor Rory Keene told the jury that the defendant agreed to meet the girl at Luton railway station in the early hours of May 9.
He told the police that he had come to Luton to say hello to the girl, saying he thought she was over 18. "If she was a young girl I would have given her £20 for a taxi to go home," he said.
In the witness box he said that he thought he was coming to meet a young woman, not a 14-year-old girl.
He said the girl's Facebook picture looked like that of a woman over 18, possibly 20.
In online chats she said several times she was 14, but he thought she was role playing and lying about her age.
He said he first got talking to her on a website entitled 'Young girls looking for older men'.
Torevell, who had been suspended from his job at the time, said he was bored at home. He wanted to take his motorbike out for a trip and that was why he arranged to meet Jenni.
He told the jury: "I am not a paedophile. The conversations on Facebook were crude, but it was bravado.
"She never once said I was being inappropriate, but she would reply with kisses and smiley faces.
"I thought she existed and I was going to meet the woman in the photograph. There is no way I would date a 14-year-old girl."
He was jailed for 12 months after being found guilty of attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming.
The Judge said he accepted that Torevell had been subjected to threats, but said there were no grounds to suspend the prison sentence.
He also ordered that Torevell should register as a sex offender for ten years and be under a Sexual Harm Prevention Order also for ten years.
It is the latest case of a predator being caught trying to meet children for sex by vigilantes. William Orr, 55, was caught on camera by vigilante group Dark Justice after arranging to meet a 15-year-old boy for sex in Newcastle.
‘Pathetic’ Simon Bagley was caught on camera arriving to meet what he believed to be a young girl named Charlotte.
And Douglas Smith, who was already on the Sex Offenders Register, was caught on camera admitting he intended to hook up with a young girl.
