SHOCKING footage shows an out-of-control Mercedes missing a toddler and dad by inches.

Dash-cam video shows the car spinning wildly towards their car head-on.

The Mercedes CLK Coupe swings alongside missing a collision narrowly in the tense footage.

The car then smashes into a lamppost and two garden walls after careering on a bend.

This dramatic crash happened in Lancaster on October 1 this year.

The shocked father posted the footage .

He said: "Me and my 2 year old boy had a lucky escape when an out of control car in a 20mph zone crashed, missing my car by inches.

"He managed to take out a lampost, 2 garden walls and a telegraph pole."

The Mercedes driver, stops further down the road with the front of the vehicle wrecked and bumper hanging off.

It ends up over a public path as the dad rushes over to the car, and begins pointing at his son - seemingly explaining what could have happened.
