Chilling way Caroline Crouch’s killer husband exposed his lies by poking his eyes and blinking rapidly in TV interviews
THIS is the chilling moment Caroline Crouch's killer husband exposed his guilt by turning his eyelids "inside out" in a tell-tale TV interview.
Babis Anagnostopoulos, 34, was jailed for life for at their home in Greece in May last year.
The monster murdered Caroline in front of their baby and cruelly killed her beloved dog before faking a botched break-in.
He then went on TV to spin a grisly set of lies in a desperate bid to fool the authorities into believing he was a grieving husband.
Anagnostopoulos sobbed to reporters, visited his wife's grave with their daughter and even comforted Caroline's heartbroken parents.
His lies have now been explored in TV show The Murder of Caroline Crouch: A Faking It Special on Discovery+.

Body language expert Dr Cliff Lansley has revealed how Anagnostopoulos displayed give-away signs that exposed his guilt.
He said: "He's trying to create the impression of sadness by putting his fingers, poking his fingers into the corner of his eyeballs.
";And the last one pulls down the eyelid so much that it turns the eyelid inside out. It flicks back here.
"So he's really trying to stimulate tears in his eyes because he wants to portray sadness. But when we look back at his full face, there's no evidence of sadness on his face.”
During the TV interviews, the monster claimed he had “gotten love from all over the world” as he welled up.
But Dr Lansley says there are "no tears" and "no expressions of sadness".
He also explains there are two micro-indicators of deception when Anagnostopoulos shrugs his shoulders while contradicting a positive verbal claim.
The expert says: "That single sided shoulder shrug is so reliable as an indicator of deception.
“In all my work over the 30 years, I have never seen a micro, single-sided shoulder shrug when people are telling the truth.
“When you get clusters like this during a claim, an affirmative claim, this gives us a huge degree of confidence that he's faking it."
MURDER PLOT
On May 11 last year, Anagnostopoulos tortured and suffocated his wife with a pillow as their baby slept at the couple's home in an upmarket Athens suburb.
The fiend then hung the family dog from his leash after hatching a gruesome plot to fake a crime scene.
But his lies unravelled when police discovered a text message that showed Caroline was planning to leave her husband.
A digital cache of evidence from the couple's smart devices also blew apart Anagnostopoulos' false timeline.
Officers found the monster had in fact been active during the time he was supposedly tied up.
Caroline's smart watch also showed her heart had stopped beating hours before the alleged robbery.
Forensic psychologist Kerry Daynes tells the show: “She was fast asleep at around four o'clock in the morning and then suddenly there was a surge in her heart rate, a six minute surge in her heart rate whilst she was being suffocated.
“This is somebody who waited for their wife to go to sleep to then jump on her and smother the life out of her. And it took him six minutes to do so.”

Anagnostopoulos was convicted in May this year of premeditated murder, animal abuse and two counts of perverting the course of justice.
As well as being jailed for life, he was also handed and 11 year sentence for killing the dog and fined 21,000 Euros.
