Fourteen childhood friends ALL give birth to boys within FIVE months of each other

The pals, who all live within three miles of each other in Kent, have all welcomed baby boys since May

FOURTEEN childhood pals all given birth to boys within five months of each other.

Nikki Dowdall-Smith and her friends all became pregnant around the same time.

And they were amazed when they all had sons.

Six of the mums-to-be found out the sex of their babies in advance.

So the pals, who all live within three miles of each other, naturally presumed some of them would have girls.

Nikki, 29, from Wigmore, Kent, who gave birth to her son Tate in July, said: “We couldn’t believe there were more boys.

"We were all convinced at least one of the last mums would have a girl — but no, we have a full set of boys.

“We all live within a stone’s throw of each other and it’s so strange we’ve all had little boys.”

All the new mums have been pals for years and include Nikki’s cousin Amy Dowdall, who was her midwife.

Nikki said: “We’ve joked about our own 11-a-side football team but we realised we’ve got too many, so we’ll have to have three subs.

“We all regularly see each other.

"But we can’t now all go to coffee shops and meet because we don’t fit in with all the prams.”

All the babies were born between May and October this year with the largest 10lb 9oz James and the smallest 5lb 13oz Rufus.

Nikki, married to Dean, added: “We said we’ll save a fortune for their 18th birthdays as we can just have a joint one.

"All the boys could go to the same school.

"It’s nice they can grow up together.”
