Hillary Clinton will now ignore Republican rival Donald Trump after debate drama
The Democrat candidate said: 'I debated him for four and a half hours – I don’t even think about responding to him anymore'
US PRESIDENTIAL hopeful Hillary Clinton has said she is now ignoring what rival Donald Trump says in her campaign to concentrate on the issues.
Speaking to reporters on her campaign plane in North Carolina, the Democrat candidate said: “I debated him for four and a half hours – I don’t even think about responding to him anymore.
"He can say whatever he wants to. He can run his campaign however he wants to, he can go off on tangents, he can go to Gettysburg and say he's gonna sue women who've made accusations against him.
"I'm going to keep talking about what we want to do."
The election race has been dominated by scandals around the controversial Republican candidate.
On Saturday, he repeated his promise to sue the 11 women who have come forward in recent weeks to accuse him of sexual assault or inappropriate behaviour.
Before a speech in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Trump said the media was making up stories to make him “look as bad and dangerous as possible”.
Donald Trump's campaign manager acknowledged on Sunday that the Republican presidential candidate was losing the race.
"We are behind", Kellyanne Conway admitted on NBC's Meet the Press.
She said of Clinton: "She has some advantages, like $66million in ad buys just in the month of September, thereby doubling her ad buys from August."
However, she insisted Trump will fight back with a stepped-up campaign schedule in the final two weeks and even press Clinton for a fourth debate.
She added: "I think Donald Trump would challenge Hillary Clinton to another debate for a very simple reason: unless you're a money donor, you are not going to have much access to Hillary Clinton out on the stump now."
