Horrifying video shows girl being dragged by the hair and kicked in the head by female attacker
Cops are speaking to a teenager girl in connection with the brutal incident in Albert Park at the weekend
THIS is the shocking moment a young girl is attacked by another female teenager in broad daylight - while others watch on and do nothing about it.
The attack shows a girl, who has been named online as "Millie", being attacked and dragged by her hair around Albert Park in Middlesborough on Saturday.
Her attacker, who is thought to be older, can be seen punching and kicking Millie as she begs for her to stop.
You can also see a group of people standing around as the attack goes on, with not one person jumping in to stop the onslaught.
The two minute-long footage, which is thought to have been deleted from its original source, has been posted and shared numerous times on Facebook over the weekend.
Users on Facebook have been shocked and outraged by the assault with many hoping to see action taken against the girl responsible.
Janine Spriggs said: “That video of that lass battering that other lass has physically knocked me bad that poor girl shouting get off me and everyone laughing at her! Absolutely awful I feel like going and giving her a cuddle poor poor girl.”

Katie Welsh said: “Scary to think my kids are growing up in this cruel world we live in I just wanna protect them all there life, what goes through people heads these days that poor girl getting battered while everyone recording her and laughing is horrible broke my heart seeing that I actually cried with anger, I hope the poor lass is okay god bless her. To the horrible bully your day will come one day.”
Cleveland Police have confirmed they are looking into the incident and have questioned a girl in connection with what happened.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Officers investigating a report of an assault on a young teenage girl in Albert Park at around 6pm on Saturday evening have questioned a teenage girl in connection with the incident.
“We have also had further names put forward by witnesses and will carry out further inquiries to trace these people. In the meantime, if anyone else has any information which could help police, please contact us on the non-emergency number 101.”
