CORBYN FOR TRUMP

Jeremy Corbyn’s brother Piers comes out for Donald Trump with attacks on Hillary Clinton

This is not the first time the wacky climate scientist has been a source of embarrassment for the Labour leader

JEREMY Corbyn’s brother Piers has heaped embarrassment on the Labour leader by coming out in support of Donald Trump's controversial presidential bid.

Last night the wacky climate scientist indicated his support for the Republican candidate with multiple tweets and a stream of messages expressing his contempt for Hilary Clinton.

This was then followed by: “YES! Together WE #People ofThe #WORLD must destroy the corrupt #WallStreet-#Clinton-#Corporate #TPP #TTIP-#EU-#EUETS #PLUNDER #TradeDeals RT.”

He then tweeted: “STUNNING! WTF! #ClintonFoundation bosses SAFER WITH #PUTIN THAN FACING #USA #LAW! WHO IS WITH #RUSSIA? #HilaryForPrison #Trump #FL #SC #NC.”

His backing comes despite Trump losing support in the United States with a total of 13 women publicly accusing him of sex assault.

The billionaire denies all the accusations.

The campaign for the Republican candidate was widely seen to be in chaos with some pollsters putting him 12 per cent behind rival Hillary Clinton in the race for the White House.

But an IBD/TIPP survey has thrown the cat amongst the pigeons by declaring Trump to be on 42 per cent - two points ahead of the Democrat nominee.

And far from being a maverick result, the company has a knack of picking the winning horse.

The joint Investor’s Business Daily and TechnoMetrica Market Intelligence survey has picked the winner in 2004, 2008 and 2012.

Each of those times it predicted the next President to within a 0.9 per cent margin of accuracy.

Mr Corbyn, who owns WeatherAction which makes weather forecasts, also follows pro-Trump Twitter accounts such as SICK HILLARY, Latinos With Trump, Hashtag Deplorable and Trump News Network.

It is not the first time the Labour leader's brother has been a source of embarrassment.

In April, Jeremy was forced to defend him over a "Zionist" slur on Jewish MP Louise Ellman who called for more to be done to crack down on anti-Semitism in the Labour Party.

Ms Ellman told Sky News on Sunday some activists were being allowed to “get away” with making anti-Jewish comments online and that Jeremy Corbyn should take action.

Piers tweeted that “#Zionists can’t cope with anyone supporting rights for #Palestine.”

When asked by The Sun whether he agreed with his brother’s tweet the Labour leader replied: “We're opposed to any form of racism. We're investigating allegations of antisemitism but I wouldn't call it a crisis. We as a party are taking resolute action.

"I'm doing everything I should do as a responsible leader to ensure that any allegation of any racism of any sort, be it antisemitism, Islamophobia, or any other form of racism is investigated and dealt with."

And when asked whether he thought his brother had been wrong to post the tweet, he said: “No my brother isn't wrong. My brother has his point of view, I have mine. We actually fundamentally agree - we are a family that has been fighting racism from the day we were born. My mother was at Cable Street."
