Father weeps as he admits killing his wife and dumping her body in nearby woods
Mother-of-three Natalie Hemming was last seen in April
A FATHER wept in the dock today as he admitted killing his partner and unlawfully disposing of her body.
Paul Hemming, 43, bowed his head and wiped his face as he pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of mother-of-three Natalie Hemming, 31.
He also pleaded guilty to her unlawful burial and obstructing a coroner.
Speaking from the dock at Luton Crown Court he said: "I plead not guilty to the murder but guilty to the manslaughter of Natalie Hemming."
Miss Hemming disappeared from her home in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, on April 30.
Her body was found dumped in woodland in Chandler's Cross, Hertfordshire.
Hemming is accused of murdering Miss Hemming between these dates and his guilty manslaughter plea was not accepted by the prosecution.
He will now stand trial for murder.
Prosecuting for the Crown, Simon Russell-Flint QC said: "It is unacceptable in this case and we would say to have a trial for the count of murder."
Hemming, wearing purple tie, white shirt and dark grey suit, was remanded in custody.
