A FLY-TIPPER arrives at court with a traffic cone on his head to hide his identity.

Partner-in-crime Jason Castle, 28, also hid his face by covering it with two Covid masks — one with eyeholes cut into it.

The publicity-shy pair appeared at Winchester crown court along with Michael Whittaker, 52,Daniel Whittaker, 34, and Shane Griggs, 37.

The court heard the five men worked for various gardening companies and all had links to the caravan site.

All five admitted depositing controlled waste.

Each was fined £1,200 and ordered to pay between £1,000 and £2,500 in costs.

Officials estimated the cost of clearing their mess in Downton, Wilts, was in the region of £42,000.
