Brit psycho banker Rurik Jutting ‘chuckled as he calmly told cops how he slit sex worker’s throat in cocaine-fuelled rampage’
BRIT killer Rurik Jutting chuckled as spoke of how he killed two Hong Kong prostitutes, telling cops it "awoke a part of me I didn't know existed".
In a video played to court the ex banker calmly detailed how he sawed through the neck of one of his victims -- laughing as he said it drove him to kill again.
Cambridge-educated Jutting, 31, killed sex worker Sumarti Ningsih, 23, after keeping her hostage and subjecting her to horrific sexual and physical torture.
Days later he killed another prostitute, Seneng Mujiasih, although he denies their murders on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
In the latest recording played at his trial, Jutting -- originally from leafy Cobham in Surrey -- said he got sexual satisfaction from killing the two women.
He said: "I've never done something like this before. All I know is the more cocaine I took and the more I hurt her the more the hunger to do it grew.
''I had done something for the first time that I had never done before and even after feeling bad I realised how much I enjoyed the process.
''The combination of alcohol and cocaine and the physical torture had given me a sense of enjoyment I had never felt before.
''It made me realise that I would do it again. It awoke a part of me I didn't know existed and once opened I knew there would be more.''
Jutting fuelled his torture and killing spree with 10g of cocaine and four bottles of wine and spirits a day.
Toxicology expert Dr Lau Fei-Lung told jurors the “psycho banker” consumed enough drugs and booze to put a normal person in a “coma”.
Earlier in his trial the court heard details of his second victim's "epic struggle" for life as she fought off the knife wielding killer.
Seneng Mujiasih, 31, suffered cuts to both hands as she tried to fight of Jutting who had already killed another sex worker in his flat.
Seneng's lifeless body was found in Jutting's luxury Hong Kong apartment, while first victim Sumarti Ningsih, 23, had been stuffed in a suitcase and left on the balcony.
Pathologist Dr Poon Wai-Ming told Hong King High Court of the injuries he found on Seneng during a post-mortem.
He said: "There were stab wounds to her buttocks and her throat had been cut. You could see the airpipes from outside.
"She had defence injuries to both her hands. She had tried to ward off the blade of the knife and tried to grab it.
"She put up a very active struggle for life.
"It was an epic struggle by the deceased who had also been forced down to the floor as there was bruising to the shoulder."
Dr Poon also described how he examined Sumarti's body which had been wrapped in a blanket and plastic sheets with a bag over her head.
She had been tied with a purple rope into a foetal position and stuffed inside the suitcase for five days before she was found infested with maggots.
He said: "Her head had been almost decapitated. She had knife injuries to her head and neck. There was a gaping deep wound.
"A flap of cartilage around 6cm was left but she was almost decapitated."
Prosecutor John Reading QC said police recovered 72 photos from Jutting's iPhone which showed Sumarti bound and gagged.
In one horrific picture Mr Reading said Juttung was holding up Sumarti's head with his hand in the frame after he had slashed her throat in the shower.
Jutting also told cops he disposed of Sumarti's blood stained clothes and the knife used to kill her by throwing them in the rubbish.
He described how he had kept her in his flat for three days binging on cocaine and alcohol to fuel his desire to torture her.
Jutting added: "At first it was consensual but after that first hour she wishes more than anything to leave.
"But I couldn't let her go because I was deriving very extreme satisfaction and pleasure from her being physically restricted and physically tortured.
"I want to be fully transparent about this death (Sumarti) and the second individual.
"I am extremely tired and emotionally drained and not operating on full capacity so it's possible that I may forget things.
"Both of these individuals I have killed. I haven't killed anyone else.
"I don't know if you are searching for others but there not any more victims.
"Thank you very much for assisting me in contacting the British consulate."
Jutting said: "I've taken cocaine previously but never in large amounts.
"Previously it has affected me in a positive way and I get very generous and have given large amounts of money to girls and proposed marriage."
He added: "Six weeks ago I started playing out long and extended fantasies."
Jutting went on: "I took pleasure in being a bit rough. I was quite rough with Alice (Seneng) and I held her down and used her.
"I got sexual gratification out of being rough with her."
Jutting denies murder but admits manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
He admits preventing the lawful burial of Sumarti's body.
The two women were found in November 2014 and Jutting was arrested after calling police to tell them "something bad has happened".
After Sumarti's death he made a series of video monologues describing how he had tortured and raped her before slitting her throat.
Jutting picked up Seneng on Halloween night and he took her back to his flat where he planned to torture her with pliers, sandpaper and sex toys.
But she spotted a gag made from a condom and rope and she started arguing with Jutting who grabbed a knife and cut her throat.
The trial continues.
