Now worried farmer Dave Avery has posted a video of her on YouTube to help track her down.

He said: “She escaped looking for a male, but I’d really like her back.”

Eleven-month-old Miss Piggy, worth £200, disappeared from the farm in Mapledurham, near Reading.

Dave added: “She’s black and white and not far off fully grown.

“There’s about £200 worth of meat on her anyway — she won’t really get any bigger now. She always comes running when anyone shouts, ‘Come on’ as she thinks there’s food.

“I only keep 12 pigs, so I’m down to 11 now. I hope to get her back.”

Lovelorn Miss Piggy recently gave birth to a piglet which Dave is keeping.

He said: “He’s become a pet and doesn’t live with the others as they rejected him. So we keep him.”

Adult pigs can run at 11mph and have a good sense of direction.
