THE mum of a tragic teen killed after a car driven by 17-year-old boy crashed has today spoken of her devastation.
Neringa Narusyte died after the black Vauxhall Corsa she was travelling in smashed into another car in Scotland last night.
Today the 14-year-old’s mum paid tribute to the schoolgirl, saying she would be “loved and remembered”.
Devastated Ilona Narusyte, 34, said: "She was a lovely, nice girl. She was just a teenager. She’s always going to be loved and remembered.
“I still can’t believe that she’s gone. She liked speed, going on rollercoasters and that sort of thing. Anything thrilling.”
The horror collision - which happened when the teen was out with friends - has also left another schoolgirl of 14 fighting for her life in hospital.
Two other girls, aged 16 and 17, were also seriously hurt while the driver - a 17-year-old boy - suffered minor injuries.
The 42-year-old driver of the other car – a grey Nissan Terrano – also suffered minor injuries.
The crash happened on the B9016 Keith to Buckie road near Moray, Scotland at around 10.38pm yesterday.
Shocked family and friends of the third year pupil at Buckie High School laid floral tributes at her home as news of the crash spread throughout the community.
The teenager, who moved to the Moray coast 11 years ago from Lithuania with her family, had lots of friends according to older sister Erika.
School friends took to social media today to express their upset over the popular girl's death.
One girl tweeted: “Worst things happen to the best people has never been so relevant.”

Independent Buckie councillor Gordon Cowie said there had been several accidents on the road where the tragedy happened.
He said: “It’s a road you need to be very careful on.
“The road has claimed two or three lives in the past. I wouldn’t say it is a dangerous stretch of road but it is a road where you have to take a lot of care on, there are a lot of bends on it.
“Our condolences go out to the family, we are thinking of them at this sad time.”
Road Policing Sergeant Rob Warnock appealed for witnesses to come forward.
He said: “My thoughts, and that of my officers, are very much with the family and friends of the 14-year-old girl who sadly died in this tragic collision.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have seen the crash or who may have seen either vehicle shortly beforehand and who hasn’t yet spoken with police to do so as a matter of urgency to help us piece together exactly what happened.”
The teen leaves behind older sister Erika, 17, 10-month-old baby brother Jay and step dad Colin Milne.
