After rumours that he had snuck back onto the platform using fake accounts, his official profile has been reactivated.

Musk's ownership has already seen a number of previously banned figures, including former President Donald Trump, reinstated to the bird app.

Is Andrew Tate back on Twitter?

Tate's official account has now been reactivated, after being suspended in 2017.

The long ban has now been lifted and, on November 18, the profile posted: "Losing simply isn't an option. Such is the way of the Wudan."

Since then, Tate has been extremely active on the platform, posting multiple times a day.

Why was Andrew Tate banned?

The influencer was banned from Twitter in 2017 for violating its terms of service with his controversial comments.

He is previously referred to women as "property" and said they should bear "some responsibility" if they are sexually assaulted.

In August, Tate was banned from a range of other social media sites.

TikTok banned him for misogyny, while Meta said he violated their policies around "Dangerous Individuals and Organisations".

He is also banned on YouTube.

Tate has denied accusations of misogyny and claimed that many of his clips are "taken out of context".
