British pensioner and young partner die in grim traffic accident in Thailand
A BRITISH pensioner and his partner have been killed in a horrific freak road accident in Thailand.
Keith Miles, 78, was in a Toyota Yaris driven by Tawid Kanadee, 27.
CCTV footage shows that their car slowed to turn but was hit from behind by another car — and shunted into the path of an oncoming truck.
Keith, from Nuneaton, Warwickshire, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Paramedics rushed Tawid to hospital where he died from his injuries.
The other drivers were not seriously hurt.

Police in Swang Wirewong, North East Thailand, are probing the tragedy which happened on Tuesday afternoon.
Keith, worked as a school teacher in the region after leaving England several years ago.
Thong Supachai, a friend of the couple, said: “Keith was so much fun.”
