Cosplaying Harley Quinns dominate Comic Con in London as thousands descend for the ultimate geek event

THOUSANDS of Cosplayers descended on the London Excel Centre for Comic Con - and there was a clear favourite to dress up as.
Harley Quinn was a popular choice, with girls dressed as Margot Robbie's character from Suicide Squad all over the event.
There were also hundreds of Star Wars fans dressed up as their favourite characters ahead of Rogue One's release in December.
Following the success of Pokemon Go, the event attracted more people in costumes from the game than ever before.
Characters from comics, games, Anime and Manga as well as cult classics were also all on display.
MCM Comic Con, which was founded in Britain in 2001, runs from October 28 to 30 and attracts thousands of Cosplayers.
It celebrates everything from Manga to Marvel.
There is also a Comic-Con in San Diego that attracts a staggering 130,000 people for the four-day event.

Stars at the event include the first Jimmy in Lois and Clark, Michael Landes, the cast and crew of Humans as it begins season two and the cast from Doctor Who spin-off Class.
It also attracted cast members from Red Dwarf and Game Of Thrones.
Gamers battled in a Street Fighter V tournament, while the Comic Village features scores of budding comic book writers looking to promote their work.
Comic Con also boasts as impressive food area, with with most stores focusing on Japanese cuisine due to the popularity of anime and manga, an animation style that originated in the country.
Last year over 120,000 pop culture fans filled the ExCeL and even more are expected this year.
