Britain’s second biggest lottery winner hits back at claims he evicted best friend over £250 rent hike despite landing £148million jackpot
The big winner says their decision to go public over the row means 'the war has only just started'
A FURIOUS Euromillions winner has hit back at claims he evicted family friends over a £250 rent hike.
Adrian Bayford, who scooped the £148 million jackpot with his ex-wife Gillian in 2012, has ranted online that he is being unfairly "slated" by ex-mates, Kym Mills and daughter Keera Mills.
In a series of posts online, which have now been deleted, Adrian, 45, declared "war" on his friends for saying their friendship was destroyed by his winnings.
He raged: "People who go to the papers about me better be ready for what the papers will find out about them. Let the war begin lol (sic).
"Yes, I have been fortunate. I try and help as many people as I can, but I don't want one/two/three bad pennies spoiling my life. Sadly looks like they are trying. Sadly for them I don't take no shit, and like it's said all's fair in love and war, and bloody hell the war has only just started."
Kym, 54, met the Bayfords while running a shop next to theirs before their lotto win and had grown close to the couple over a seven-year period.
