Sex attacker tricked drunken woman into going home with him after she was kicked out of nightclub then raped her
Ebou Jasseh 'took advantage of vulnerable woman' by telling her he was having a party before raping her in bathroom
A MAN has been jailed after tricking an intoxicated woman into going home with him after she was kicked out of a nightclub, before subjecting her to a vile sex attack.
Ebou Jasseh, 33, told the unsuspecting woman – a complete stranger – there was a party at his home and she went with him.
When she realised there was no party she left, but Jasseh persuaded her to return, before cornering her in his bathroom and raping her.
The woman had been out in Watford town centre when Jasseh lured her back into his home.
He was sentenced to six years in prison at St Albans Crown Court on Monday.
Speaking to the court, prosecutor Michael Speak said: "A trick was used to get her to go back to his house and he exploited her drunkenness."
Jasseh, of Watford, Hertfordshire, appeared for sentence having been convicted by a jury of raping the woman in the early hours of the morning on July 21 2015.
Defending, Anita Arora insisted Jasseh still maintains his innocence, telling the court her client was previously of good character.
She said: "He has insisted throughout that he did not appreciate just how intoxicated she was.
"When he spoke to her, she made sense and did not slur her words."

But Judge Stephen Warner ruled: "You took advantage of a vulnerable young woman who you had enticed into your home for your own gratification.
"You took advantage of her when she was, to a considerable extent, incapacitated."
Making reference to a victim statement, he said: "The effect of your behaviour on her since then has been significant."
Jasseh must now register as a sex offender, and must not contact the woman unless a further court order is made permitting him to do so.
