Woman, 22, killed in Christmas Day crash as four men arrested after fleeing scene
A WOMAN has been killed in a Christmas Day crash which saw three men arrested after fleeing the scene.
Maria Carolina Do Nascimento Migel was travelling in a car in Edgware, North London, at about 3.45am when the tragedy happened.
It is understood the car collided with another vehicle.
London Ambulance Service attended but despite their best efforts, Maria sadly died at the scene.
A man, the driver of the second car, suffered a head injury however, his condition is not serious.
Two men, aged 29, and a 21-year-old, were arrested on the same day on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision after fleeing on foot.

A 32-year-old man was then arrested on Tuesday for the same offences.
All four men have been bailed pending further enquiries.
The Met Police said before the fatal crash, officers "indicated for a car to stop" in the area of Hendon Way.
However, the car drove off and there was no pursuit, say cops.

A short time later they were informed the same car had been involved in a collision with another car.
The force said today: "The occupants of the car that did not stop for police fled the scene on foot."
