More explosions are feared as the fire continues to engulf the yard.
Firefighters are working to extinguish the fire - but only one fire engine is thought to be at the scene.
The location is the world's third-largest ship-breaking yard and is located across a 10km beachfront in Gadani, about 50km northwest of Karachi.
