Woman falls to her death from library as shoppers watch in horror

Emergency crews were tragically unable to save the woman's life after she plunged from the Library of Birmingham

A WOMAN has plunged to her death in front of horrified shoppers.

The woman fell from the Library of Birmingham with panicked witnesses rushing to help and call emergency services.

The tragedy took place about midday on Wednesday.

Police and ambulance crews were called but paramedics were unable to save the woman's life.

It is unclear how far she fell.
