Fury as CitySprint delivery driver is filmed throwing parcels like frisbees into the back of his van
In the footage the unnamed driver can be seen pulling parcels from a sack before flinging them into his vehicle
A DELIVERY man was caught throwing parcels like frisbees into his van, and the woman who filmed him claims she has seen it before.
The unknown man, who is thought to work for courier firm CitySprint, is seen getting parcels from a sack and throwing them into the vehicle.
Gemma Statham filmed the video outside a BP garage in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, on Monday, which is thought to be used as a collection point for parcels by the company.
Gemma, 24, said: "I was just sitting watching him when I filmed it.
"I've seen him do it quite a few times now and we've all said at work that it's appalling to see – even the customers have said that.
"You never know what's in the parcels.
"It could be really fragile stuff and he's literally frisbee-ing it into the back of the van."
Gemma added: "God knows why he does it, maybe he thinks it's a quicker job but it can't make his job easier because he's not going to know exactly where he's put each parcel – they're just going to be anywhere.
"I think he needs to have a bit more respect for other people's parcels – you never know what's in there do you.
"I've seen him do it so many times before so this isn't just the first time."

The firm, which employs a network of delivery staff across the UK, states on its website that they "have a strict selection criteria for our couriers".
A spokesman for the company said: "At CitySprint, we treat any item placed into our hands with great care and take any reports of incidents very seriously.
"We are conducting a full investigation into the report of an incident in Ellesmere Port and will take any necessary steps to ensure our high standards are maintained."
A spokesman for BP said the garage is owned and operated by a dealer partner, not by BP itself.
A spokesman for the garage, who said he was the BP worker visible in the video, said: "We see a lot of parcels come into the shop - about 300 a week if not more - and very few items are breakable, it is normally sporting equipment and golf balls.
"Any parcels wrapped with fragile tape are usually treated with a little more respect.
"I used to speak to the delivery man in the video on a daily basis and he is no longer working there - he is starting a new job next week.
"To be fair the drivers do have quite a few pick-ups to do in a certain amount of time.
"It is a lot more time-consuming to neatly put them in the van but obviously you have to treat people's stuff with a bit of respect."
