Prince Harry’s ‘new flame’ Meghan Markle gets left at the altar…in Suits series 6 finale
ACTRESS Meghan Markle may be hoping to have more luck with her rumoured ‘new flame’ Prince Harry than her on-screen counterpart.
Meghan’s character, paralegal Rachel Zane, gets left at the alter by her lawyer fiance, Mike Ross in the series five finale of the American legal drama Suits.
Mike, who has endured an on-off relationship with Rachel throughout the television series, refuses to marry his bride.
Scenes show Rachel, donned in a white gown, in tears when she discovers Mike, who is played by Patrick K Adams, is not going going to turn up to their wedding.
In real life, 35-year-old Meghan who lives in Toronto in Canada, may be hoping to have better luck with her alleged new love Prince Harry.
Rumours about the pair’s ‘secret relationship’ have been flying and Meghan has since posted a number a cryptic messages on Instagram, including spooning bananas and a tea pot in the shape of an elephant – an animal Prince Harry has campaigned to save.
The pair have apparently been conducting a trans-Atlantic relationship with the Royal ‘besotted’ with his new girlfriend.
A source close to Harry, 32, told the : “He’s happier than he’s been for many years.
“He’s in a very relaxed period of his life and Meghan has come along at the right time.”
The pair both share a passion for humanitarian work, with Meghan working for several organisations including World Vision Canada and the United Nations.
She also has visited Afghanistan to support US forces and their families.
Meghan married film producer Trevor Engelson in 2011, but the pair split in 2013.
The US actress isn’t the first star to have been linked to the Prince in recent years.
Last year claims of a fledgling romance between Harry and Ellie Goulding emerged after it was reported the pair were seen getting very close at the Audi Polo challenge in Coworth Park, Berkshire, in July 2015.
