On January 25, a video of him sparring was uploaded to Twitter attracting millions of views.

The video shows Ross punching with poor form and his trainer doing the majority of the work.

Fans online were quick to share their opinion, most taking a satirical approach.

"The GOAT putting in work," a Twitter user said.

"I love Adin but Jesus Christ," another said.

"He looks like a f**king cat doing the paw thing," one said.

However, one fan backed in the novice fighter.

The Twitter user said: "Adin is a beginner, how are you people judging him.

"If anything the coach needs to accommodate, tell him to use his feet, be critical of how he is throwing etc... how is Adin supposed to know if he has never put gloves on before."

Ross responded to the vitriol with a livestream update scolding his haters.

Ross said: "Everything’s going to progressively come together.

"That was my very first time putting on gloves like that.

"I want to see a lot of mother f**kers who were there talking s**t with their fat nerdy asses that are going to be in the gym the first time.
