Jeremy Corbyn to push for a General Election NEXT YEAR if Theresa May refuses Labour’s Brexit ultimatum over Single Market access
Shambolic Opposition leader 'happy' for Britain to go to the polls soon ... even though it would see Labour wiped out
DELUDED Jeremy Corbyn will call for a General Election next year if Theresa May refuses to push for Single Market access during Brexit negotiations -- even though it would see a Labour rout.
The loony leftie said a commitment to keep unfettered trade links to the EU was Labour's "Brexit bottom line".
Euro leaders have repeatedly said Single Market access can only be permitted if Britain opens its doors to UNLIMITED EU immigration -- a deeply unpopular prospect in Labour's northern heartlands.
Latest polls predict a Conservative landslide, with some pointing to an 80-seat Tory majority if an election was held soon.
Labour MPs hostile to Corbyn's leadership will see his call as proof he is willing to bring the party to electoral oblivion over his madcap hard-left agenda.
In a soft interview with , Corbyn spelled out what Labour is insisting the Government commit to before triggering Article 50 talks.
As well as the Single Market pledge, Theresa May must vow to protect worker's rights, guarantee consumer and environmental protection and plug funding gaps from EU investments, Corbyn said.
“These must be the basis of the negotiations. And it doesn’t necessarily cause a delay," he told the paper.
“We are not challenging the referendum. We are not calling for a second referendum.
"We’re calling for market access for British industry to Europe.
"If the Government calls an election we’re ready for it".
Corbyn's masochistic plan was revealed just hours after a video emerged of him running from questions about a potential early election.
