Cops seal off car park after reports of suspicious vehicle 7 miles down river from where missing Nicola Bulley vanished

POLICE sealed off a car park near to where Nicola Bulley disappeared.

Officers and forensics were working at the scene nine miles downstream from where the mum vanished.

they were investigating reports of a suspicious vehicle in the car park, but that nothing was found.

The car park has since been reopened.

It comes after her heartbroken partner said he is trying to explain to their children why "mummy isn't there for a bedtime cuddle".

The mum-of-two, 45, disappeared a week ago while walking her dog along the River Wyre in Lancashire.

Since then there has been no trace of missing Nicola, leaving her family in agony.

Her partner Paul Ansell today visited the route where she vanished to appeal for information.

He said: "My whole focus is my two girls, just staying as strong as I can for them.

"I'm scared that if I put focus into anything else it's going to take my focus off that.

Paul said he keeps playing "every scenario" in his head "around and around" but each one comes to a "brick wall".

He added: "It is as though she has vanished into thin air."

The dad said he would "never lose the hope" of finding missing Nicola.
