A TEEN girl was seriously injured when she was hit in the face with a firework during a night of "devastation" in Greater Manchester.

Other incidents saw yobs chucking fireworks at firemen in Salford and cars set on fire.
Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service said hundreds of "frightened and concerned" people reported a variety of incidents.
Between 8pm and 9pm yesterday evening the service was receiving more than one call a minute with staggering 300 calls made between 3pm and 10pm.
That marked a 20 per cent increase on Bonfire Night last year and by midnight a further 50 calls had come in.
