Paul Ansell begs partner Nicola Bulley ‘just come home’ in emotional message & pleads ‘we’re never going to be the same’

NICOLA Bulley's partner Paul Ansell has begged her to "just come home" in an emotional live plea.

Paul sat down with Channel 5's Dan Walker for an exclusive interview last night.

Nicola has been missing since January 27, when she vanished while walking her dog Willow in St Michael's on Wyre, Lancashire.

Police divers and outside experts have searched the river extensively over the past two weeks, without success.

Walker asked a distraught Paul what he would say to Nicola if she was watching right now.

And Paul emotionally pleaded for Nicola to "just come home", with his family "never going to be the same" after the harrowing ordeal.

He said: "I just, how much, how much I love her. How much us as a family love her and  need her.

"How well thought of, how much our friends love her, and need her back.

"Um, and we are never, we're never gonna be the same until, until she is back. Just come home."

Walker then asked Paul about whether this interview was an "appeal to those who might watch this" and if he hoped it could "trigger something in their mind".

The Channel 5 presenter said: "I know you are so keen, aren't you?

"To any piece of information that could potentially give us some answers? You're desperate for that to come forward."

Urging anyone with information to come forward, Paul replied: "Yeah. Like anybody who knows anything, like, like you say, no matter how small that is, even if you think probably isn't anything, just please just contact the police. Just please just do it."

Continuing his plea the dad-of-two said: "Because all we need is that tiny something. We just need that tiny something to give us some answers you know, some answers.

"So, you know, that's all I can say is, you know, just please just, just contact the police with anything at all.

It comes after the search was yesterday widened up to 20 miles away from where the 45-year-old vanished.

A new lead also came to light regarding a "shabby red van" that was in the area where Nicola was last spotted at the time.

However, search expert Peter Faulding, whose team was involved in the hunt until recently, has thrown doubt on the cops' current theory.

He has said that he would "be very surprised" if Nicola had fallen into the river and suggested that she "may never be found".

In the interview, Paul also revealed how he expected to be a suspect in the case. 

Meanwhile he also revealed he believes a local is responsible for Nicola's disappearance.   

Meanwhile, BBC presenter Jeremy Vine made an embarrassing blunder when he referred to the case as a "murder", despite no suggestion of foul play from police.

Mr Vine made the error on a live broadcast while interviewing Nicola's friend Emma White.

He was discussing the controversial influx of amateur detectives trying to crack the case.

The flood of sleuths has prompted fears in the area, with private security carrying out patrols after over-zealous newcomers searched elderly residents' gardens.
