Prince Harry’s ‘new girl’ Meghan Markle has intimate lunch with ‘matchmaker’ pal after revelation of royal ‘relationship’
PRINCE Harry’s new love Meghan Markle has shared a relaxing lunch at a celebrity hangout with close pal and “matchmaker” Markus Anderson.
Meghan, 35, in the global media spotlight over her royal romance, chose the swanky Four Seasons in Toronto for a catch-up with the man she calls her “partner in crime”.
She has described Markus as one of her “closest friends in the world” and he is credited with getting her and Harry, 32, together.
He has been in her inner circle for years and is understood to have organised a date for her with the prince, who is also his chum.
As she left the hotel’s Cafe Boulud on Friday, a smiling Meghan hugged lunch companion Markus, reports .
The pair spent about an hour at their favourite haunt, a top spot among the Canadian city’s elite.

Meghan and Markus, both in double denim, left the restaurant with a small posse and the American actress waited for a valet to bring her car.
Meghan, who plays Rachel Zane in US legal drama Suits, and Harry are thought to have been seeing each other for several months.
The TV star divorced husband Trevor Engelson after 18 months in 2012. It’s rumoured she may have still been seeing Canadian chef Cory Vitiello while Harry pursued her.
Markus, from Ontario, is a consultant for the Soho House Group exclusive club and previously was its global membership director, having started as a waiter.
Meghan, based in Toronto, has shared a host of pictures of her jaunts with Markus for her one million Instagram followers.
On a Miami break with him, she posted: “Uh oh. Too many fun times with this partner in crime.”
