REMAINS of more than 100 decapitated people have been unearthed near Mosul as murderous ISIS troops are chased out of their stronghold.

Rows of skeletons without heads were found by Iraqi troops in the grounds of the School of Agriculture on the outskirts of Hammam al-Alil.

It comes as the doomed and deluded death cult released an horrific propaganda video showing summary executions and their victim's corpses.

Iraqi investigators are currently trying to establish who the victims are.

A short Iraqi army statement said: "Gangs of ISIS militants continue to commit crimes against our people."

The United Nations has condemned the massacre and vowed the mass murderers would face justice.

UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said: “There will also need to be accountability for people committing these atrocious crimes.

“We can only condemn such atrocious behaviour and we very much hope that the military operation in Mosul will be completed quickly and within the framework of international law.”

Hammam al-Alibi is about 30 miles south of Mosul and the last important settlement along the River Tigris before Mosul.

ISIS fighters were informing the town's residents to hand over any boy aged nine and over, according to the UN Refugee Agency.

It is thought the boys were to be forced to fight for the terror group alongside the ISIS youth wing called Cubs of the Caliphate.

A major offensive has been underway since October 17  to expel the death cult from its Iraqi stronghold of Mosul.
